Day camp programs provide children opportunities to discover the natural world first-hand. Planned nature activities are offered by the staff for children with an interest in the natural sciences.

All non-members receive a free family membership effective at time of payment.

Summer Camp 2008

Week 1: Honey Hollow Neighborhood

All about the environment! Insects, plants, pond and stream.

June 30 - July 3,   9:00 - 1:00 pm
Ages: For Kids entering grades K-2

Price: Members $130

          Non Members $200

Week 2: Plant-astic

Explore all the different plants and their ecosystems at Honey Hollow.  

July 14-18th,   9:00 - 3:00 pm
Ages: Grades 1 - 3

Price: Members  $200

Week 3: Going Buggy

We'll collect and learn about insects from many environments and then release them back to their homes.

July 21 - 25th,  9:00 - 3:00 pm

Week 4: Art and Nature

Using Nature as our inspiration we'll concentrate on arts and crafts this week with projects and journaling.

Week 5: Wild Watersheds

Pond, stream, marsh: everything wet! No swimming.

Week 6: Hooray for Herptiles !

Scales, claws and slime! We'll learn about reptiles and amphibians this week.
